Tweed Christmas Party
Hope to see you all tonight. We will have a Christmas party for the girls on Thursday night (Dec. 16). Chad will be providing the pizza and Capri suns for the girls. Let’s talk tonight about whether we want them to do anything else or bring anything else!

Cheersport Cometition Info

As of now our time is 10:40 and awards are at 11:43.
We are to be there on Sunday at 9:00 am!

Some Recent Emails
I just thought I’d send you all a quick note to let you know that if you can’t be at practice be sure to let Kayla or someone at Cowboys know. I don’t mind you calling me at all but I’m likely to forget so you will need to let them know also. I can usually send an email to Kara but sometimes I may not be able to get in contact with them.
As you know the next competition is December 5th. Only 2 more practices until then.
CHEERSPORT does not charge a spectator fee for their Grand Championship Series events!
The competition schedule for this event will be posted the Monday before the event at 5:00pm on their website. I’ll forward the times we will need to be there when Kara sends them to me.
We decided last night for everyone to go ahead and get their bags, warm-ups, etc. monogrammed individually since we just haven’t had much time to organize it. So, feel free to go ahead and get yours monogrammed at your place of choice.

Updates!!!
Uniforms should be done and in by tomorrow. I will distribute them at your next practice along with the bows.
Shoes have started coming in today, they're coming from 4 different places. When everyone on your squad has shoes I will distribute them. They will be in this week unless something disastrous has happened.
Tweeds- Y'all will be wearing black bloomers. We have some in and need to know everyone's sizes so the sizes we do not have enough of already Chad can get by Wednesday.

Email from 10/5/10
Hi Everybody,
Please see the email below from Kara regarding payment for this month. Thank ya!
Also we talked the other night about having a “make-up” party during one of the Thursday night practices to get us more on the same page about make up and hair. Sarah’s mom volunteered to guide us through how to apply the makeup so we all look uniform. Does this Thursday work for you guys???
Sarah’s mom has also volunteered to purchase the make-up and hairspray for us. She will let us know how much we owe her.
Still be thinking of ideas for that Halloween party on the 28th. Kayla said we can party during practice that night since they will have just completed their first competition. She did mention to be sure to let them wear shorts under their costumes should the need to b/c she’ll have them out running around playing games and such. We can talk more about it at practice.

Ok I got a LOONNGGG email from Kara this afternoon so I’ll hit the highlights for you. A lot of it I will just copy & paste from her email so here we go:
We are getting warm ups for the girls this year. They should be sizing our girls in the next weeks for them. They are black, white and our teal/baby blue color like on the uniforms.
Tweeds & Broos: we are still waiting on shoe samples to come in so we can size y'all for shoes. When they do come in I will get every sized so we can place an order.
(I have asked for confirmation that this means the shoes come with the uniform – will get back to you on this – Mh)
Bloomers: the Tweeds will receive black bloomers with their uniform.
Tweeds & Broos: bows will come with your uniform, they are white and black with black sequins.
And here’s the biggie:
The Cheernation competition at the BJCC on Oct 30th has been moved to Oct 24th and as of right now only the Tweeds and Broos will be attending.
So we better be making it to all those practices so our girls can be ready!! J That’s only 4 weeks away. I’ve been impressed with how hard they are working and the new things they are learning.

Email to Parents 9/6/10
Tomorrow nights practice color is green. I have some green ribbon I am bringing if you need some for the girls' hair.
Also, I have started a new Blog just for our 2010 Tumbleweeds team. I will attempt to post all of my emails to you guys on there for your quick reference - you can just save it as a favorite on your browser. Hi Everyone
Well moms & dads, I decided to start a blog for the 2010 Cowboys All Stars Tumbleweeds team. I will continue to send you guys emails but I thought this might be another way to get the information to you and post any cute pictures of our girls or events we have coming up. I also thought it would be a great way to document our girls year together.
So, if you miss an email from me I promise to try to do my best to post it on here also w/in at least a day from when I originally sent it. Please note I said try!!
